Completing Quests as a Party, How?
Ok, to elaborate on what i meant with that topic, heres 2 examples:
1. Me and a Friend go out as a party to complete the Cesnor quest right outside searing Ascalon. My Friend, the party leader, picks up the censer and we head back to town. I get no credit for completing the quest.
2. During the Defending the Wall missions in searing Ascalon, we receive the side quest to collect Kirin Testilbe's (sp?) four pieces of armor. My friend gets 2 pieces, i get the other 2 pieces and we turn them all in. No one gets any credit for completing that side quest, and we go on to finish the mission.
How does questing in a party work? Is it even possible to do these quests with a group, or must they each be done a seperate time for each player?
And lastly, will i ever be able to go back and finish that side quest now that we completed the mission? I hate missing things like that.

ouch, I did the Defending the Wall mission and the side quest with two other people in my party and we all got xp for it. Not sure what you guys did wrong but completing quests in parties has worked just fine for me. and I'm doubtful about being able to do the Testibles(sp) quest again but I would def try cause its 1000xp!!

Was that 1000exp seperate from the primary objective in the mission? We did receive 1000 exp for completing the main objective, but nothing was rewarded for the secondary objective with the 4 armor pieces and its marked as uncomplete.

Yes, each mission has a primary objective and a bonus. Each reward 1000exp, so 2000exp potential.

yeah, most dont... but i find that if you ask in a way that isn't "oh i'm so desperate for help" and more like "hey! you have the same quest, i have the same quest? why not?" or "you help me with mine, i'll help you with yours" then more people speak up.

One person needed to hold all 4 pieces.

No. It's not. And I speak from experience. But maybe all the holders must talk to the guy. I can't remember this. What I'm sure of is that I had one of the pieces and other party member had the other three.
Cheers!

Hmm, we had it that way the first time and it didn't work, when one person had all 4, then it did, maybe they fixed that or my memory is bad, dunno . . .

The good news is you can go back and do it again...because my group skipped it the first time and then this guy who couldn't find him and I went through and found him and got credit for the bonus and then mapped out....so try it again with someone.

Some quests need to be re-done, which is a hassle, really. I think they should fix it so that people in parties with a mutual quest will all receive credit. Often, all members receive credit for quests such as "bring this guy back to the city" or "kill this enemy" type of quests. However, for quests requiring a person to obtain a drop and bring it back, only the carrier of the item receives credit.
One other thing I'd like to note already since I'm replying and don't feel like making a separate topic: on those quests where you lead people back to cities, it is extremely annoying when you or someone else in the party accidentally walks into the city before the NPC characters do. then the entire length of time you spent doing the quest has gone to waste, and you end up having to fight all the monsters and retrieve the NPCs again.
